The Country Salon offers a welcoming and relaxed space in which our small team
of hair experts deliver their wide range of services to suit all types of hair.
The Country Salon first opened it's doors in 1986 in the beautiful village of Heydon. Founded by Edward Sutton, the salon went from strength to strength and Edward's son, Paul, joined the team in 1992.
Paul now heads up the friendly and talented team of stylists.

Styling
Whether it is a quick trim or a full style update, our skilled stylists offer our clients individual advice on how best to adapt their style to suit their face shape and personality.
We also have a passion for ensuring that the condition of our client's hair is given priority.
Our use of Schwarzkopf Professional Fibre Clinix hair treatment combines the power of ultra-performing, premium skin care ingredients combined with an advanced triple bonding technology which we customise to suit specific hair needs. This results in up to 10 x stronger hair, complete perfect porosity sealing and up to 60 days restoration of both the inner and outer hair structure (when combined with the BC home care regime)
Colouring
Our colour experts choose to use the wonderful products available within the Affinage Infiniti range. Our technicians can achieve almost unlimited colour results using the salon professional range, which is ultra-low in ammonia for optimum scalp comfort.

We are pleased to offer our clients a superb range of products from Schwarzkopf.
These include the luxurious Oil Ultime range which has been specifically designed for different hair types, these products are powered by 100% natural, purified oils, which continue to leave the hair soft, shiny and manageable.
Fine to Medium Hair
Created to weightlessly cleanse and treat fine to medium hair types, the floral blend of Rose and Marula Oil helps to leave it beautifully soft and subtle.
Medium to Thick Hair
Made with the precious blend of Argan and Barbary Fig Oil, this range delivers essential hydration and nourishment, whilst reducing frizz and creating amazing shine and a smooth touch.

Wow, just completely blown away with Paul's level of hair care knowledge. My hair had been feeling really lacklustre but after a trip to the Country Salon it is now both looking and feeling absolutely amazing. Paul
Paul joined the team as a fully qualified hairdresser in 1992 and brings with him a wealth of experience.
As creative director and owner of the salon, Paul oversees all technical areas and is passionate about offering the salon's clients the very best and latest innovative products
Shailey
Shailey joined the team in 2011
She is a fully qualified and talented level 3 hairdresser who specialises in colouring
and styling
Shailey enjoys advising her clients on the best colours and styles to suit their particular needs
Tanya
Tanya rejoined the team in 2022, having previously worked for both Edward and Paul in Heydon
She is currently working towards completing her Level 3 qualification.
Tanya loves all aspects of hairdressing and is passionate about new
colour techniques
